Ramadan is a holy month and for Muslims, helping others during this time holds a special place as deeds increase during the month of Ramadan.

Keeping in mind the importance of Ramadan and the difficulties of citizens facing economic crises, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched the PSER Ramadan package. “The PSER Ramadan package is the right of the poor, and the duty of the government.

People should get their right with respect and dignity. People should not be made to stand in queues to get the package,” she said.

On Friday, the Punjab government announced the PSER Ramadan package and ensured transparency in the delivery, as the package is specially designed for deserving families. The government is committed to serving its people for the sake of Allah Almighty.

The last date for registration is 15 Feb and to avail of the benefits, it is compulsory to register yourself before the last date. Anyone can apply for this relief program through an online portal, i.e., pser.punjab.gov.pk.

What is the Ramadan Relief Package?

The Ramzan Package 2025 is a hopeful government initiative to make required items accessible to poor families who cannot afford essential food items. These items include flour, lentils, cooking oil, salt, dates, rice, and gram flour. The Punjab Social and Economic Registry (PSER) survey covers this program and provides all required items to deserving families.

What Does the PSER Ramadan Package Include?

Each family receives a complete package of required items to cover a major portion of kitchen needs. These items are compulsory for Sehar and Iftar. This package includes the following items. 

  • Two 10 kg bags of flour
  • Lentils (dal)
  • Cooking oil
  • Salt
  • Other daily use items

Eligibility Criteria for PSER Ramadan Package 2025

To enjoy the benefits of PSER Ramadan Package 2025, you should meet the eligibility criteria. Firstly, you should be a resident of Punjab as this scheme is for Punjab only. You must have a CNIC to prove your identity. Also, you should own a registered mobile number on your CNIC for contact.

Application Process 

Go to the PSER Portal: To start the registration process, go to the official PSER portal by clicking here: https://pser.punjab.gov.pk/login. 

Create Your Account: To proceed, it is mandatory to create a verified account. For this, provide your CNIC number and a password. If you already have an account, add the required information to continue. 

Fill the Form: Now, click on the form to start the application process. Fill out the form by providing all required information, like family, size, income, assets, etc. It is important to provide the right information, otherwise, you can never be a part of any current and future PSER programs.

Submit The Application: Once you complete and review the form, click on the submit button. After submission, you will receive a confirmation message. 

Verify Your Eligibility: The PSER survey team reviews your application and decides whether you are eligible or not.

  2. Registration Closes: February 15, 2025
  3. Package Distribution: From the first week of Ramzan 2025

How to apply if I don’t have internet access?

If you have no access to the internet for online registration, you can visit the nearest Union Council and local government offices. The staff will assist you in completing your registration process. 

How will I know if I’ve been selected?

When you qualify for the eligibility criteria, you will receive a confirmation message or email with details of your nearest distribution center. 

Can women apply as heads of families?

Yes, if your family meets the eligibility criteria any adult can apply as head of the family. 

What is the distribution location?

For remote areas, people who qualify for the application process will be notified about their nearest distribution centers.
